23 Jan HDB 3-Room $30k @ Bukit Merah
Rich and expensive, this apartment manages to achieve the luxurious and prestigious feeling but with a different approach. Instead of using high gloss and modern elements, the designer adds a wooden chandelier in the living room, but one that feels like it has come from the medieval period and the baroque.
The fan/chandelier is the element that perfectly blends everything together in the living room, managing to be the signature mark, around which everything else revolves. Every other element complements the chandelier. Even though some of them look modern and contemporary, such as the skyscraper picture and the UK pillow, they are just an addition to the design.
The kitchen, on the other hand, is a vibrant and lively environment. And just a subtle trick has made that possible. The trick is in the yellow bar chairs, as they add color to the space. Take them out, and the all white kitchen looks dull. But with them, it is a different story.
