HDB BTO Spacious Living Area At Blk 550B Segar Palmview

The moment you enter the living area, you get a sense the whole room can be classified as a separate apartment.

A black and white theme, enhanced by use of brown dominates the interior for a dramatic and bold look.

Going back to the living area, the designer installs a black patterned TV feature wall for the dramatic outlook, but also a platform used as a children’s playhouse.

The children’s playhouse is lifted on a marble platform, just so it is visually separated from the living area. In the dining area, the designer uses another trick to make it look glamorous and bold.

By installing a full floor to ceiling tinted mirror, the designer gives a glamorous touch to the area. In most cases, the mirror is positioned in a way to reflect the natural light flow from the windows, but in this case, the designer wanted the mirror to reflect the dining table.

In the kitchen, we see the full glory of the black and white dramatic and bold outlook. Enhanced by marble finishing for the countertop, and MDF high gloss white material for the finishing of the kitchen elements, the room looks as dramatic as possible.

And while drama is the theme of the kitchen and the living area, once you get to the bedroom, it is all about comfort and coziness. Gone is the black and white combo, and replaced with a calming brown finishing for the TV feature wall and the wardrobe cabinet.

The wooden accent is the best way for achieving warmth and coziness in a room, and the bedroom sure benefits from it.
